Next Thursday, we’ll have the pleasure and privilege to be part of Activate, a “multi-faceted artistic showcase” organized by RAW: Chicago.
Doors open at 8:00 pm at Double Door.
TFL goes on at 10:15 pm.
This unique multimedia event will include an art gallery, a fashion show, a film screening, and performances by Christine Fasan, Radiant Devices, and Phaedra...
TFL Joins CAUDog Records
That’s right, it’s official. We have signed with Chicago’s own CAU Dog Records! We are currently in the studio with Ellis Clark to produce a new full-length album. There is still a lot left to do, but what we’ve got so far is sounding pretty great (if we do say so ourselves).
We’ll be releasing the new record in mid May. We can’t wait to share it with you.

Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival
We are pumped up to be part of CBB. We had a blast last year, and the new lineup looks to be a great one.
We’ll be playing on Saturday, January 28th at the Congress Theater.
You can catch TFL at 8pm on the lobby stage. After our set, head on in to the main stage to see Joe Pug at 9pm, Dawes at 10pm, and Drive-By Truckers at 11:30pm.

On August 19th at Beat Kitchen, The Future Laureates will be kicking some tunes in Chicago. This time, we are doing a benefit for Streetwise. Half of all proceeds will be donated to this fantastic organization. Streetwise is not about handouts, but empowers those who are facing homelessness by providing an opportunity for gainful employment. Learn more here.

A Tremendous Weekend
Well, despite the close quarters of a Toyota Yaris (thanks Stef!) loaded with a roof pack (thanks Evan!), our first trip out east was a huuuuge success. Thanks so much to everyone who came out for the shows. It was a great privilege to visit and bring our music to our friends and family in such distant locales.

Ribfest Chicago
This year, The Future Laureates have been asked to play at Ribfest Chicago. This festival is known for its music, so we are especially excited.
We’re playing on the South Stage at noon on Saturday, June 11th. Headlining the stage that day is Ezra Furman & the Harpoons, so you’ll definitely want to stick around. Admission to the festival is free, but a $5 donation is requested....

May 7th Lineup Announced
On May 7th we’ll be joining Jackson Bailey, Henry Wolf, and our good friends Band Called Catch in support of Corey Chisel and the Wandering Sons.
Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. Doors open at 8pm.
